Valentine's Cookies

It's been sooo long since I updated my blog. Sorry, to all you stalkers like me, who get frustrated if there's no updates in the last 24 hours. I decided to post a few pics from our cookie day at Erin's. We had so much fun decorating cookies! The kids loved that they could do their "own" sprinkles. Good idea? Maybe not, but oh well.

How long have you guys been together: Actually, our first date was 3 years ago TODAY! We had a brief "we're on a BREAK" moment somewhere in there, but have pretty much been together since then.
How long did you date: 1 1/2 years.
How old is he: 31
Who eats more: He does.
Who said I love you first: Actually, he said it first. But I think I felt it first. He tried to fight it off, but, he lost.
Who is taller: He is. Not by far.
Who is smarter: He is. He knows everything about everything. (what man doesn't think that.) But, really, he pretty much does. Ask him any random question, and he knows. But, don't ask him how to SPELL the answer. LOL!
Who does the laundry: I used to. He does a good share.
Who does the dishes:Whoever gets finished with dinner first. (If dinner required a lot of dishes I eat REEEALLLLY SSSSSLLLLOOOOWWWW!)
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed: Jason does. We tried to swap. Neither one of us slept well.
Who pays the bills: He pays his, I pay mine.
Who mows the lawn: Whoever Jason PAYS for the week!
Who cooks dinner: Usually me, but he helps quite often. It is usually a team effort. It's good visiting time while waiting for potatoes to boil.
Who drives when you are together: He does.
Who is more stubborn: He is. HANDS DOWN! Whine a little, and I give in.
Who kissed who first: He kissed me first. Coyote Ugly.
Who asked who out first: He actually invited himself.
Who proposed: He did. Olive Garden. Ring on my dessert.
Who has more siblings: I have two, he has six.
Who wears the pants in our family: I would say he does and he would say I do!

Sunday: Great idea, honey. Let's go to the gym together! Monday is Cycling day. It will be fun! (alarm set for 4:45 am....check!)

Monday: 4:45 am. Honey, up! 4:50 am. Honey, you said! 5:00 am. UP and to the gym. Both of us. (bikes are broke, so... gym lady says it's Lunge Day!. Hubby says screw that, I'll take the treadmill.) 6:30 am. walking to the truck. Ohhhhh mannn! My butt hurts! Getting in the truck... EEEEEEK! This truck is TALL!
1:00pm. Upstairs? No, I will just set this stuff on the stairs.
10:00pm. I think I will be sore in the morning.

Tuesday: 4:45 am. Gym??? Ha!!! Pilates. Back to sleep. And, honey.. don't TOUCH my Butt!!! (have you had a "dead leg"? have you had a "dead butt"? Have you had a dead butt after a Lunge-a-thon?
7:00 am. Sitting on the toilet? Do you KNOW how many muscles that uses????? Quite a few. And many that I didn't know I had. Did you know you have a muscle right to the side of your knee?? Ya, it hurts. And my butt. and all the way down my thigh.
All Day: Walking like I POOPED my pants! Co-workers laughing and laughing.
6:00pm. Honey. Can you help me take off my shoes? (ya, right).
6:30pm. A little slap on the butt, and hubby laughs histerically.
10:00 pm. Bathroom break? OHhhhhh NOOOO! Can't get down to the toilet.

Wednesday: 4:45am. Gym?? Nope. Turbo kick. = PAIN! Maybe tomorrow.
6:00pm. Walking down stairs is easy. UP?? Still a bit painful, but maybe the "lunge queen" will take her easy on me in the morning. PLLLEEEAAASSSSEEE!!! Oh MY!!!
Just keep thinking.... "buns of steel. buns of steel. buns of steel."
I just thought you should know. LOL!

Caesy's first PIANO LESSON!

Caesy had her first piano lesson on Saturday. She was very excited
and did a very good job! She is excited about practicing, too. (That won't last long.)
Check her out! It's extremely cute! (I love the tongue. It helps you play better, you know!)

She was very proud of herself. She played all day long,

and every half hour or so she would RUN to me and Hug me tight

and say "thanks for teaching me to play the piano mom!"

Luis and Catherine

Our friends, Anna and Chebo, stopped by for a visit and brought the kids. I think they are so cute! It was so funny watching Luis share his treat with his sister. She eventually wouldn't give it back and ended up getting one of her own.

Look at their beautiful brown eyes!

Luis is just learning to talk, (in Spanish of course), but the Turkey still sounds the same in ANY LANGUAGE! gobble gobble gobble......

New Furniture

Amy, Erin, and Mom, here are the pics of my new furniture I promised. Kinda Squishy in the little "home teacher room" but at least now the home teachers can sit down! (I sold my furniture about 3 months ago, and the room has been bare other than the piano since then.) By the way, EDWARDS furniture is having a Screaming Sale! :)

Do we like the pillows? Or not? Can't decide if it needs some. What's your vote?

So, is EVERYONE out there got "ONE IN THE OVEN"?? I have snooped at quite a few blogs lately, and I guess 'tis the season! Just so you know.... I AM NOT! Ha!
