What we’ve been up to….
PART 1

Well HELLO STRANGERS! it’s been so long since I’ve posted anything that I’ve almost forgotten how to do it! We have been crazy busy this summer- we’ve had tons of fun, but I am sooo glad to get the kids back to school and back into a routine! I woke up to whispering voices this morning at 3:am and found every light in the house on, as well as Kami and Caesy sitting in Caesy’s room, just “chillin”. I asked them what in the world they thought they were doing. I had tucked them both in, snuggly, in their own beds promptly at 8:30 bedtime. The excuse was that they “couldn’t sleep.” Well I can’t imagine BOTH of them happening to be AWAKE AND ROAMING THE HOUSE at the SAME TIME, sooooo I’m assuming one woke the other. (Don’t know who woke who.) Anyway, I reminded them it was not a weekend, it was a school night, and to get back in their beds IMMEDIATELY and GO TO SLEEP! I guess it takes a little adjusting to get back to the routine for kids too.

Well, where to start with our latest happenings???

24th of July------ Stone Resevoir (Honestly, how many boating pics can one person take??)

This is the "gang"-- I think this was our longest camping trip yet. We headed up on Wed night, and although I had to come back to work on Friday for a bit I headed back up right after and we stayed until Sunday night. (It was a huge temptation to stay another few days though, the weather was perfect, everyone was having a blast, water was warm, boat ran good, but, hey, some of us have to work!)

The boys decided that the dock needed to be moved a little, so they both hooked onto it and started tugging. Eventually the cable broke. They did end up getting it moved though.

Mud facial! (This was a pre-cursor to the birthday party post, which is coming.)

The kids got the idea to ride their bikes down the dock and into the water. Notice where the life jackets are. Not on the child......... on the BIKE!

Who needs a boat when you have a dock? The kids spent more time on the dock than on the boat. They played follow the leader down the dock and took turns doing a trick into the water. They did this ALLLLL WEEKEND!!!!

Stone Rodeo........ The boys decided they were going to wrangle a wild horse. Here's to you, TEAM BROWN!!!!! LOL!

It didn't go too well.....

We had a great weekend!! We love Stone!!!
